• By pioneering this technology, Audi has helped install the fastest public chargers in the country to date.
• The project, in partnership with GridCars has resulted in 33 installations of fast and ultra-fast EV chargers.
• This includes four 150kW (DC) ultra-fast, five 80kW (DC) fast and twenty-four 22kW (AC) EV charger installations.

• Johannesburg, 13 June, 2022 – Audi South Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Mulalo Makungo (Ratshikhopha) to the role Audi National Sales Operations Manager, officially from 1 April 2022. She brings with her over ten years’ experience in the automotive industry and has worked with the Barloworld and McCarthy Groups at Head Office level and across various other brands in the automotive sector, including BMW, General Motors, Burchmores and Traders Online.

• Audi is first OEM to train and prepare South African First Responders like fire services and paramedics on the topic of e-mobility and electric vehicles.
• 70 First Responders were trained as part of Audi’s local e-tron launch and EV roll out.
• Class-room and practical based EV training enabled a train-the-trainer facilitation across all portfolios within the Department of Cooperative Governance and the National Disaster Management Centre in South Africa.
